Wheat On Fire

A wheat fire erupted last Friday evening north of Waitsburg on the property of Derek Duke, of Henderson, Nev. The McCaw family farms the 500 acres Duke purchased about two years ago. Duke said he is happy no one was hurt and no machinery was lost. It took the local fire districts about two hours to extinguish the blaze.
