Dear Editor:

I was very excited to see your article on the front page, "Full-Force Fair!" and was looking forward to reading about all of the hard-working kids who did their best at the fair this year. Imagine how very disappointed I was to see a very special young lady overlooked! Emily Wilson is not only a Waitsburg student, she had the 4-H and Overall Grand Champion Swine at the Walla Walla County Fair this year! Not even a brief mention was made. Emily worked very hard, also earning the Grand Champion Swine 4-H Fitting & Showing award. Perhaps next time, you will visit all of the barns, not just the beef,Q horse and poultry ones. I hope to see better coverage of the upcoming Dayton fair.
