Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley
A rmelia J. Zaharevich and Mathew Rupp were united in marriage on August 24, 2012 at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Waitsburg, with Rev. Robert Turner officiating.
This bride is the daughter of Marci and Lyle Perkins, of Waits- burg and John J. Zaharevich of Seattle. Armelia is a graduate from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science in Psy- chology. She is currently a Certified Professional Guardian with OmniGuardianship Services, Waitsburg, and an agency affiliated counselor with Lourdes Hospital. She also serves in the Washing- ton Army National Guard.
The groom is the son of Sharon and Terry Bloor of Richland, and John and Lou Rupp of Kennewick. He is a 2005 graduate of Kennewick High School and is currently a Sargent in the Wash- ington Army National Guard serving as a recruiter in Richland.
The private wedding was attended by close family and friends, including Armelia's brother, Michael Zaharevich who was home from Brussels, Belgium where he is currently serving in the United States. Not in attendance was Armelia's brother, Nicholas Zaharevich, who is currently on orders with the Washington Army National Guard stationed in South Carolina.
The music and vocals for the wedding and literagy were pro- vided by Pastor Mike Ferrians. Special thanks to Father Turner and Pastor Ferrians for making this a very special day. We also want to thank B.A. Keve and Mary Phillips for providing the in- spiration to bring this all together.
