Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley
Attention those that haven't registered--go to your elections office by Oct. 29. So often we don't think our vote matters but it does especially in local and state politics when the popular vote determines the winner. I'm hoping that in Walla Walla County the popular vote is for Chris Blackman as county commissioner.
I've known Chris for over 20 years. After we met at work, it didn't take long for me to know that Chris has a spirit and a drive that moves her in a direction that helps others. That's why I wasn't surprised when she told me she was running for county commissioner. I was her friend but I still wanted to hear her opinion on several important issues, because we do not always share the same political views. I liked what I heard, but more importantly I believed Chris was running for the right reasons. She was interested in truly making a difference and wanted to use her background in working with others to provide better county services. I have every confidence in Chris. Please vote in November. Every registered voter has a say. It is not by district.
