Trimming The Tree

Pacific Power employees and arborists from Trees, Inc. trim trees in Downtown Day- ton on Saturday, Dec. 8. Pacific Power performs this service every other year and have performed the service at least five times according to Chamber of Commerce Director Brad McMasters. The tree trimmers all volunteer their time, trimming and shaping the trees along Main Street as well chipping and sweeping up the mess. The volunteer service saves the city thousands of dollars per year, McMasters said. The chamber pays for the volunteers' lunch, which was at Skye Book and Brew this year.
