Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley
It is with deep sorrow we announce that Darrold A. Williams, 39, passed away Jan. 11 at Dayton General Hospital. He was born on March 23, 1973 in Boise, Ida. He was the son of the late Dwight "Bud" Lloyd and the late Howard Williams and mother, Suzyann (McCustion) Lloyd.
Darrold graduated from Dayton High School in 1992. After high school he attended Walla Walla Community College where he received his degree in culinary arts. He then went on to work at the Red Lion Inn in Boise as a chef.
Darrold met his soul-mate Caysie Button through a chance encounter in spring 2008. It was friendship bonded by love that drew these two together perfectly. In June 2009 they proudly welcomed their beautiful daughter Emylee Lyn Williams. She was and will forever be "Daddy's lil' girl." To make their family complete Darrold took Caysie's hand in marriage in August 2012.
Beside his devotion and love for his wife and daughter, he enjoyed the company of his close family and friends. Darrold will be forever remembered for his generous gentle soul, his sense of humor with that mischievous grin and the love and laughter he shared with all those around him. We will deeply miss you, our "redneck hillbilly."
Darrold is survived by his wife of four months Caysie Williams of Dayton, three- year-old daughter Emylee, step-children Samantha Justton, 20 and Will Justton, 17 both of Pendleton, Ore., mother Suzyann McCustion Lloyd of Battleground, Wash., three brothers and five sisters with numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m on Jan 26 at the Dayton Eagles, 222 Main St. Dayton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to American West Bank under Tracy Blue, titled Donations for Caysie and Emylee.
Special thanks to the staff at Dayton General Hospital, Deputy Foley and Dayton EMTs.
