Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley

Cynthia Ruth Hiatt

Cindy was born in Walla Walla at the General Hospital. She grew up in many places in the US, but began attending school in Waitsburg for grade school and Prescott for Jr. High School. She attended school from her fresh- man year to graduation at Wa-Hi in 1975. Cindy then attended WWCC for three years.

She moved to Missoula, Mon- tana to attended vocational Tech Center (LPN) training. She worked at St. Lukes Hospital in Missoula.

Cindy loved her time in Montana; particularly the spiritual retreats she went to at Flathead Lake. Cindy always said, "Studying the word of God in such a beautiful place must be like Heaven."

After Cindy left Montana she returned to Walla Walla and began a 28 year career working in various departments of a facility in Walla Walla. After leaving there she went to work as a care aide for Senior Life Resources where she and her efforts were greatly appreciated.

Cynthia's life was dedicated to God, her family, and friends, and the patients she so dearly loved.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents Shannon and Marilyn Hiatt. She is survived by two brothers, Thomas (Mary) Hiatt and Terry (Patsy) Hiatt, and a sister Kathy Vollmer; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

Cindy's greatest joy and purpose was to be a constant source of love and support to all she knew. We will always love and miss her. She will always be the angel that looks over us all.

Services for the celebration of Cindy's life will be in the spring. The time and place will be published at a later date.
