Consent Agenda: Prior minutes and payroll vouch- er payments are approved.

Committee/Board/Com- mission Reports: Dan Nysoe, Public Safety Committee chairman, will report on Feral Cat Program and Creating Special/Community Events Application Process and Requirements.

Public Safety: Nysoe reports that the Public Safety Committee has reviewed options for reducing the feline overpopulation is- sue and determined that the most cost-effective ap- proach is for the City to im- plement a feline overpopu- lation/control educational program. Norman Roff, recommends the City pass an ordinance establishing a limit on the number of cats allowed per household. Nysoe further reports that the Public Safety is creating a special/community event application process and a cost reimbursement schedule for the use of city staff and city equipment for such events. The policy will be available for Coun- cil's consideration in the near future.

Parks/Public Grounds: Broughton reports that the Recreational and Conser- vation Office's grant pro- gram has a matching fund requirement for projects and, as a result, the Park Board will not be pursuing the grant opportunity.

Public Works: George reports that the repairs to Water Well Pump No. 2 will be beginning.

Planning/Economic Development: Hall reports that the County will begin interviewing for the County Planner position on March 8 and the City has been invited, by the County, to sit in on the interviews.

Chamber of Commerce: Berg reports that Brix & Brew tickets will be on sale and the Chamber of Commerce is close to replacing the west end "Welcome to Dayton" sign.
