FEAST WALLA WALLA IN APRIL

WALLA WALLA - Feast Walla Walla will be business as usual on Sat., April 13. This event showcases the hospitality industry of the Walla Walla Valley, promoting the area's un- common quality an abundance of local food, wines, and art. The sixth annual Feast, sponsored by Banner Bank, will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Walla Walla's historic, award-winning downtown streetscape provides the backdrop for a fabulous feast for the senses under 'The Big Tent.'

Guests sample food and wine featuring the region's many fine restaurants, food purveyors and wineries. An on-site wine shop gives guests the chance to purchase bottles of the wines they taste. Half- and full-case discounts will be avail- able for purchases made during the event.

Feast Walla Walla will feature the selected works of re- nowned local artist, Squire Broel, a painter, print maker and sculptor who casts locally at the Walla Walla Foundry. His sculptures on Main Street are part of the City's public art col- lection, including last year's commemorative Sesquicenten- nial piece, "Looking Back, Looking Forward."

Tickets are $50, inclusive of a commemorative wine glass, plate and 10 event tokens, which can be exchanged for samples of wine or food. Additional tokens will be available for $2.
