ASOTIN - The Dayton Bulldogs baseball team struggled Saturday, losing both ends of a double-header to the Asotin Panthers.
The inexperienced bulldogs were shut out in first game, 10-0, as Asotin's pitchers combined for a two-hitter. Lowden Smith and Logan Hays had the teams only hits.
Smith pitched a complete game, but the bulldogs gave up 10 runs to the Panthers, while committing 12 errors.
In the second game, the Bulldogs scored two runs in the top of the first inning, but ended up with a lopsided loss, 26-2. Smith and Christian Warner each had two hits for the Bulldogs.
Dayton's next game is Saturday against SLELW at home.
