May promises to be filled with action at the Liberty Theater. The month starts off with a showing of the sci-fi adventure,"Oblivion", followed by the uplifting biographical sports drama," 42". Later in the month, the Liberty gets your heart racing again with "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" and the political thriller", The Company You Keep".

"Oblivion", starring Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, and Olga Kurylenko takes place on planet Earth after it's been devastated by decades of war. Jack Harper, played by Cruise, is a drone repairman just completing his assigned mission of extracting vital resources, when he rescues a stranger (a beautiful woman, naturally) from a downed airship. This rescue is the first event in a chain that causes Harper to question all he knows and eventually puts the entire fate of humanity in his hands. "Oblivion" is rated PG-13 and plays May 3, 4, 5 & 7.

"42" tells the story of Jackie Robinson, the first African American to play in the Major Leagues and Brooklyn Dodgers General Manager, Branch Rickey, who signed him. The two took a stand against prejudice, facing criticism from every side, while forever changing the face of professional baseball. Robinson (number 42) is played by Chadwick Boseman and Rickey is played by Harrison Ford. "42" is rated PG-13 and plays May 10, 11, 12 & 14.

"G.I. Joe: The Retaliation" starts Dwayne Johnson, Channing Tatum and Bruce Willis in a daring action adventure. After being framed for crimes against the U.S., the G.I. Joe Team faces not only their mortal enemy Cobra; but also danger from within their own government. "G.I. Joe: The Retaliation" is rated PG- 13. Show dates are yet to be d e t e r mined.

The star- studded cast of "The Company You Keep" includes Academy Award winners Robert Redford, Susan Sarandon, Chris Cooper and Julie Christie along with a slew of Academy Award nominees. This film is all about secrets, including those we keep from ourselves, and stars Redford as a former Weather Underground activist dodging the journalist who has found him out. "The Company You Keep" is rated R and show dates are yet to be determined.
