Local Teams Roll Into Playoffs

The SE 2B softball league ended last week with the Waitsburg and Dayton teams finishing a strong second and third behind the undefeated DeSales Irish.

The Lady Bulldogs began their playoff march Tues­day with a victory at home. They play the WP girls Fri­day in Walla Walla.

The Dayton boys finished their season tied for sixth place, at 1-11, while the WP boys had a strong 7-5 sea­son, to finish tied for third. The Tigers lost thier loser-out game Tuesday.
