Walla Walla resi- dent Junanne L. Greene, 71, died December 11, 2012, at her home. There will be a celebration of her life on June 22, 2013 at 2:00pm at the Waitsburg Presbyterian Church on Main Street in Waitsburg, WA. Inurnment was at Lakeview Cemetery in Seattle alongside her husband, Chris B. Greene.
Junanne was born Sep- tember 3, 1941 in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho to Rudolph and Alice Kvern. She attended Schools in Spokane, Grant Grade School and graduated from Lewis & Clark High School. She also attended Eastern Washington College, Cheney, Washington.
On June 10, 1961, she and Christopher Greene married at the Liberty Park Methodist Church in Spokane. They had three sons and Junanne was very active with them as they grew up and participated in school sports. Junanne and Chris moved to this area from Iowa in 1999 to be closer to her sister.
Junanne enjoyed watch- ing college and professional basketball and baseball, especially Mariners baseball and Gonzaga basketball. She watched all the games on television. Junanne liked playing cards of any kind and most of all liked to spend time with her grandchildren. She loved them all.
Junanne is survived by her three sons and daughters in-law: Tim and Shayn Greene of Onalaska, Wis. : Steve and Sheryl Greene of New Richmond, Wis. : and Kenneth and Janet Greene of Downers Grove, Ill.; two sisters: Lavonne and Ted Bren of Waitsburg, and Mar- lene and Bill Brubaker of Edmonds, Wa.: one brother, Fred Annett of Bayview, Id. And eight grandchildren: Rachel, Carolyn, Laura, Brett, Cody, Bryan, Andrea and Lindsey. She also had many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris, in 2007: three brothers: Ronald Watson, Dennis Watson and George Addington; and her parents.
