Woman Injured in Gun Accident

A 52-year-old woman from the Tri-Cities was accidentally shot in the foot with a .22 pistol on Cougar Canyon Road, in Columbia County, on the evening of Saturday, June 22. The victim had just recently purchased the gun, and her husband was dem- onstrating how to clear the chamber of bullets when the weapon accidentally discharged and shot her in the ankle.
