Sheets & Lyons

Dr. Matt Lyons and Elizabeth Sheets were married on June 8, 2013 at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Ca­thedral in Seattle. The reception was held at the Rainier Club in Seattle.

Elizabeth’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sheets of Seattle. Eliz­abeth graduated from Brown University fol­lowed with a Nurse Prac­titioner’s degree from Yale University. She is currently employed by the University of Virginia, Charlottesville as a pedi­atric nurse practitioner in the department of Urol­ogy.

Matt’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Rusty Lyons of Waitsburg. Matt is a local graduate of DeSales and a graduate of the University of Washington in biology, and a graduate of the Uni­versity of the Washington School of Medicine. Af­ter a five year residency in Orthopedic Surgery at University of Wash­ington, Matt is finishing a fellowship in sports medicine to be followed in hand and arm micro vascular surgery both at the University of Virginia.

Matt and Elizabeth hope to settle back in the northwest once his fel­lowships are completed.
