Prescott Park & Recreation Events

On Tuesday, July 16, the Prescott Park & Recreation District will be celebrating "SAFETY DAY" from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

On this day they will be placing emphasis on safety in many different areas. The Corps of Engineers will provide information on boating and river safety. The Forest Service Department will have information on fire and camping safety. The Sher- iff's Department will em- phasize personal and bicycle safety. Prescott lifeguards will emphasize swimming safety.

On Wednesday, July 17, come and bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the music of Hand Picked at 7:00 p.m. in Fieldview Park. Hand Picked is a country/ gospel Bluegrass group. They play a variety of music that will be enjoyed by all. There is no charge for this event, but a donation jar will be available to help defray their expenses.
