Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley
Summer is heating up, so we're migrating up to the cool streams of the Blue Mountains! Join the Blue Mountain Land Trust as we visit projects working to make sure our local fish have the same opportunity. On July 20th, we'll travel up the North Fork Touchet River to meet Fish Biologist Dave Crabtree, see current fish pas- sage improvement projects, and discuss issues of fish habitat and survival.
Spend the warm summer morning by the cool river bank for a morning of education and fun, and don't forget that picnic lunch for a continued good time! This trip is Saturday, July 20th from 9:00am to 1:30, including driving times. Cost is $10 per person and registration is required. For registration information, visit: www.bmlt.org/learning_ land, or, contact heather@bmlt.org or call 509-525-3136. This program is a part of Blue Mountain Land Trust's 2013 Learning on the Land series.
