Hubert was born March 30, 1927 in Taylor, Wash.
He was a descendant of mountain man Johnny Grant and Isabelle, a member of the Blackfeet Tribe.
He was raised in Waits- burg and will be buried in Lynnwood, Wash.
He was a U.S. Navy Vet- eran of WWII and Korea. He later served in U.S. Army Airborne as an Operating Room Technician from 1962 to 1965.
He later worked as a tele- phone installer, lineman and electrician.
Hubert is survived by his former wife Jane; children, Jim, Kathy, Mark, Deb- ra, Charles, Tim and Eric; twenty one grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and brother, Robert.
He was preceded in death by his children, Bonnie and Kelly; and his brother, Dale.
A funeral mass was held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 10 at Saint Luke’s Catholic Church in Woodburn, Ore.
