Junior Owen Lanning has taken it upon himself to encourage Waitsburg students to display school spirit by dress­ing up for home volleyball games and cheering the team each week. At a recent game with DeSales, WP supporters, rumored to be referred to as "rednecks" by the opposing team, embraced their inner "hick".
