Mass(ive) Band

Students from a doz­en small schools con­verged at Waitsburg High School to rehearse together prior to per­forming in a mass choir and band concert on October 23. Students learned and practiced the music at their own schools prior to joining together for the mass rehearsal. Brandon Beck from Walla Walla University bands and Dr. Jeremy Mims from the Whitman College chorus conducted the musicians. Top: The mass band rehearses under the direction of Brandon Beck.
