Trimming the Community Tree

Above: Dayton Elementary School students reach for candy canes from local Pacific Power lineman Doug Hinds on Friday, November 15. The children walked from the school with handmade decorations for the Community Christmas Tree on Main Street in front of Elk Drug. Right: Hinds took all the ornaments and used his giant boom to decorate the tall tree from bottom to tippy top in preparation for Christmas Kickoff coming to Dayton the weekend after Thanksgiving.
