Local Tack Swap at Hometown Christmas

WAITSBURG -- Waits­burg Celebration Days co­ordinators will offer a local Tack Swap at Town Hall dur­ing the Annual Hometown Christmas celebration on Sunday, December 8 at Town Hall, from noon to 3 p.m.

The Tack Swap provides the opportunity to buy, sell and swap new and used tack. Local ranch and feed stores are stepping up to offer surplus and donated items. Those who wish to trade, sell and swap tack pay $10.00 per person. Tack includes clothing; boots, hats, belts, saddles, reins and similar items.

Participants will check in at 11:45 a.m. to set up and return by 3 p.m. All tack will be monitored and recorded for sale, trade or swap. Tack owners are requested to re­turn to Town Hall by 3 p.m. to gather proceeds and any unsold or untraded items. Town Hall must be vacated by 3:15 pm, Sunday for con­tinuing Hometown Christ­mas events.

Registration proceeds Tack Swap will be managed by the Waitsburg Celebration Days Board of Directors; a local non-profit organization overseeing the annual May event. Funds will target Cowgirl Ranch Racing ex­penses, required event insur­ance and advertising.
