WP X-C Runners Make All League

WAITSBURG – Two of WP’s Cross Country runners – EJ Meserve and Emily Ad­ams – made District 9 2013 Cross Country All League Teams, as nominated by coaches. Adams, who ran her first year of high school X-C in 2013 and placed 32nd in the State Meet, earned the 7th slot on the Women’s First Team. EJ Meserve, who placed 29th in the State Competition in his senior year, took the first slot on the Men’s Second Team. “I was very happy to see that two of our six ath­letes made one of the four teams,” said Coach Joanna Lanning.
