WAITSBURG -- The Waitsburg High School Na­tional Honor Society has run several fundraisers this year to give back to the com­munity. On Saturday they presented a check for $491 to Black Dog Rescue, to help with food and veterinarian bills for local rescue animals.

They will also donate $460 to the Waitsburg Re­source Center to help fund the upcoming Mobile Dental Van visit. The Resource Cen­ter is hosting the dental van on Friday, April 4 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Waitsburg AmericanWest Bank parking lot. Adults without insurance or a way to pay for treatment who need dental service should contact Pam Conover at 337-8876 to arrange an ap­pointment.
