Jr. High Band Receives Superior Rating

WAITSBURG - The Waitsburg 7-8th grade band traveled to Asotin on March 21 where they earned a Su­perior (I) rating in the Mass Band Festival. The band per­formed three songs: "It Don't Mean a Thing if it Ain't Got that Swing," "Tunbridge Overture," and "Forge of Vulcan." All 38 band mem­bers were in attendance.

"The judges and the au­dience really liked them. They were outstanding!" said Band Director Brad Green. "We'll perform those songs at our Spring Concert in May so the community can hear them, too."...
