Thank You for Concern

Dear Editor,

Phil and I want to thank both our faith communities and all the folks within the greater Touchet Valley for their concern and prayers of support for our daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Alister Torrens. They have been serving as missionar­ies in Kiev, Ukraine through International Theological Education Ministries (ITEM) and Mission to the World (MTW).

They left Kiev Monday, March 17, and safely arrived in Kilrea, Northern Ireland the same day. They will re­side there until the Ukraine national elections that take place May 25. Throughout this time the family will prayerfully re-evaluate con­ditions to determine whether they can return or be reas­signed elsewhere.

Alister, Sarah, Saphira, and Thaddaeus appreciate the moral support and prayers that have come their way. A heartfelt thank you to all.
