Scope of the project:

High School Renovation - The Pietrzycki High School building was originally constructed in 1923. The exterior walls of the building will be preserved, but the entire interior of the building will be gutted. - New classrooms will be built, with an average size of 900 square feet.

(Current classrooms are between 660 and 700 square feet.) - The current auditorium will be eliminated; that space will be used for classrooms. - Reinforcement will be added to the exterior walls. (The walls are currently unreinforced masonry.) - All new electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, and data/communica­tions systems will be installed. - A new roof will be put on the building. - New elevator will be installed in building which has never had an elevator. K-8 System Upgrades and Gym Modification - All new electrical, plumb­ing, heating and cooling, and data/communications systems will be installed in the existing elementary/middle school building. The multipurpose room will be converted to a dedicated gym. Kitchen and cafeteria facilities will be removed. New Commons/Cafeteria/Administration building - New building will be constructed between the elementary and high school buildings. - New kitchen and cafeteria facilities will be installed in new building. - New auditorium/assembly facility will also be included in new building. - Current administration building will be torn down and administrative offices will be included in new building. New maintenance building will be built and shop/bus barn building will be reroofed.
