WHS Band Receives Superior Rating

WAITSBURG - The Waitsburg High School Band performed at a Band Festival in Clarkston on March 25 and scored a superior rating. "This is especially difficult at the high school level, and the band played very well," said Band Director Brad Green.

The band played "Fanfare for a Celebration" and "Prai­rie Dance." Green said both are complicated songs with many solos. Seniors Meara Baker (flute) and Kimmie Hamann (trumpet) played important parts.

"I was very proud and happy," said Green.
