Celebration Days Duck Derby

WAITSBURG - The Waitsburg Celebration Days Committee will be running a Duck Derby on May 17. Ducks will race down the Touchet River beginning at the Preston Avenue bridge and ending at the Main Street bridge.

Ducks may be purchased for $5 each and the owner of the fastest duck will take home $500. Second place receives $250, third takes $100 and fourth place wins $50. Duck owners do not need to be present to win. Winners will be announced at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 18 at the Waitsburg fairgrounds.
