Walsh Again Faces Edwards, Nealey Unopposed

WAITSBURG - State Representative Maureen Walsh, who holds Position 1 in the Washington State House of Representatives for the16th District, will again face a challenge from fellow Republican Mary Ruth Edwards of Prosser. Edwards challenged Walsh in 2010, but Walsh was re-elected, carrying about 57% of the vote. Walsh, of Walla Walla, is running for her sixth term.

In the 16th District, Position 2 race, incumbent representative Terry Nealey will run unopposed for reelection. Nealey, a Dayton attorney, has served in the house since 2009. He is also a republican.
