Heirloom Gardeners Weekend

DAYTON - The Dayton Chamber of Commerce, the Dayton Historic Depot and the Port of Columbia are partnering for the second annual Heirloom Gardeners Food and Wind Weekend, to be held here September 19-21. The event will showcase food, wine and tour offerings from the Touchet Valley. The event is sponsored by Pacific Power and Northwest Public Radio.

The Saturday evening dinner features TamiJoy- Farm-raised pork brats on rolls made at Dayton's Weinhard Café and Bakery, salads with freshpicked farm produce, and hand-made individual berry pies.

Wine tasting and mircrobrew tasting are included in the ticket price, as well as tastings of Mace Mead Works mead. The dinner event is followed by live music by OK Sweetheart from 7 - 8:30.
