Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley

KIDS’ BLUEGRASS CLUB STARTS UP

WAITSBURG - The after school Kids' Bluegrass Club will begin meeting at 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17 in the high school band room. Kids from 4th grade through high school are welcome to join. The group will meet Wednesday afternoons in September and October.

Bluegrass music is traditionally played on guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass and fiddle. Most of the bluegrass kids own their own instruments but TVAMP has a few instruments available for loan. The Kids' Bluegrass Club is free and more info is available from Kate Hockersmith at 337-8789. Touchet Valley Acoustic Music Project (TVAMP) is a program of Rural Youth Enrichment Services (RYES), a Waitsburg non-profit organization.
