"Overall, I'm really happy with how we started and how things are looking early in the season," said coach Angie Potts. "We started to break down as we got tired so we'll need to towkr on conditioning in order to be able to finish strong. We also have a few areas to work on with our coverage and communication. But I'm excited for the rest of this season and pushing the girls to accomplish their goals."
The Cardinals have a busy week of away games playing a league game against Asotin on Tuesday, Spangle on Thursday, and Heppner on Friday. They'll play a league game against Walla Walla Valley Academy on the 30th before their next home game, a league competition game against Tri-Cities Prep on Oct. 2.
