Blue Mountain Community Foundation Awards Grants in the Touchet Valley

WALLA WALLA - Blue Mountain Community Foundation announced this month 78 discretionary grants they will award to 65 organizations in Walla Walla, Garfield, Columbia and Umatilla counties.

Two grants will be awarded to Waitsburg based organizations: $1500 for musical instruments for the school band to the Waitsburg School District, and $1200 to the Blue Mountain Resource

Conservation & Development Council for environmental education - Camp Wooten and Environthon.

Prescott Elementary School will receive $4700 for its After School program. And the Touchet Valley Arts Council and Liberty Theatre in Dayton will receive $1900 to support Missoula Children's Theatre for 2015 as well as $1000 for a theatre assisted-listening devices system.
