Cards Fall to Pomeroy, 59-46

WP sophomore guard Travis Crockett drives against a Pomeroy defender on Thursday night in Waitsburg. Devin Acevedo had ten points, including two three-pointers, and Jacob Dunn added nine, but it wasn't enough, as the Cardinals fell to to the Pomeroy Pirates, 59-46, in their first game of the season. The Cards were to face Touchet on the road Tuesday.
