WP WRESTLERS SHOW WELL

TRI CITIES - Coach Lanny Adams said WP grapplers had a good showing at the Dec. 16 Tri- Cities meet. "Everyone wrestled very well. Both Coach Just and I were very pleased and impressed by how hard and smart they wrestled," said Adams. "Of course we made some little mistakes, but nothing we can't fix.

Tyler Hoffman (285) pinned Trevin Kennedy of LRS in 1:21 in his first match. In match two he pinned Kevin Vercoe of LRS in 1:30.

Devin Newman (126) Lost his first match by pin to Kyle DeGon of Liberty in 1:28. Newman pinned Fowler of Liberty in his second match in 5:15.

David Just (138) Pinned Chance Robison of Pomeroy in 1:42 in his first match. He won by 7-6 decision against Chris Jones of Colfax in his second match and pinned Juan Serrano of White Swan in 5:56 in match three.

DJ Lalka (145) lost his first match by a 7-2 decision to Jason Cole of TCP. Lalka lost match two to Dane Hall of Colfax to a 24-15 decision.

Tyler Brooks (170) lost his first match by major decision to Havin Heytveldt of Pomeroy, 12-0. Brooks pinned Jesse Reyes of White Swan in :48 in his second match.

Tristan Newman (285) pinned Greyson Whitaker of LRS in :45.
