DHS Honoring Alumni Champions

DAYTON – Dayton School District will be honoring its 20-year state champions on Friday with a students’ spirit assembly at 2:10 p.m. and then with community members at another spirit assembly between the boys’ and girls’ basketball games against Waitsburg-Prescott at around 7 p.m. Both events will be in the Dayton High School gymnasium. The Bulldogs won state in football, basketball and track during the 1994-1995 school year. Interim Secondary Principal Kate Wenzl is asking that people help spread the word about this event; alumni planning to attend are requested to contact Wenzl at (360) 461-2842 or katew@daytonsd.org. She is looking for photos or videos to include with a video presentation as well.
