Exploring Fish Management

Third graders from Touchet Elementary visited the Fish & Wildlife acclimation pond and dam on the Touchet River in Dayton last week with members of the Salmon Recovery Board to learn about fish hatchery management. They held live adult steelhead caught at the dam and looked for tagged fish among tiny steelhead in the pond with Dayton's Jerry Dedloff.
