Waitsburg Town Hall
All-you-can-eat pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee and juice for $5. Proceeds support American Legion projects.
9 a.m. - Noon Cancellation Stamps
Waitsburg Post Office
Purchase special Waitsburg Celebration Days envelopes for $1 and take them inside the post office to be stamped with a commemorative cancellation stamp.
9:30 a.m. Kiddie Parade
Main Streeet
Children in grades five and below line up at First & Main by 9:30 a.m. The theme is “Proudly Celebrating Waitsburg 150 Years.” Decorate bikes, wagons, etc. in red, white and blue.
10 a.m. Celebration Days Parade
Main Street
Celebrate Waitsburg’s spirit with an old-fashioned parade featuring horses, antique autos, floats and more. The parade will pass through Waitsburg’s Main Street twice.
10 a.m. Antique Auto Show
Preston Park
Check out the antique autos and sample wares from assorted food vendors including pizza, Sno Cones, kettle corn and more.
11:30 a.m. Tri-Cities Steel Drum Band
Main Street
The talented Tri-Cities Steel Drum Band will entertain the crowd following the parade and prior to the Main Street Art dedications.
12 p.m. Main Street Art Dedication
Waitsburg Main Street
Join state dignitaries Lt. Gov. Brad Owen, Rep. Terry Nealey, Rep. Maureen Walsh, Rep Norman Johnson and Senator Mike Hewitt as three historical bronze statues are dedicated.
12 - 5 p.m. Waitsburg Celebration Brewfest
Sample brews from seven breweries including: Burwood Brewing Company, Chief Springs Fire & Irons Brew Pub, Dragon’s Gate Brewery, Hermiston Brewing Company, Laht Neppur Brewing Company, Paradise Creek Brewery and Riverport Brewing. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at Laht Neppur Brewery and will be available at the door. Each ticket includes five samples (5-6 oz.) and a commemorative glass. Tickets may be purchased for additional glasses and samples. Waitsburg American Legion Post #35 will serve Johnsonville Brats and prime rib sandwiches and chips for $4-$5.
12 p.m. Museum Displays
The Bruce House and Wilson-Phillips House Museums will be open for several hours following the parade. The W-P House garage has a new Wait’s Mill display and the small house behind the W-P House holds a partially completed model of the mill. Both museums are free to the public.

The Lions Club will be serving beer, wine, wine coolers, soda and water during all the fairgrounds events. Watch the events, enjoy the bands, bring friends and have a good time. 21 and over.
12:45 p.m. Royalty ATV Run-In

1-4 p.m. Karen Huwe Mohney Memorial ATV Poker Ride

Check-in from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. First flight will leave at 1 p.m. with staggered starts. Prizes will be awarded at the fairgrounds at 5 p.m. Camping is available (see Page 9).
1-3 p.m. Children’s Activities
Preston Park
Games for elementary-age children will include relay races, water balloon toss, washer toss, ball throw and more.
1-4 p.m. Concessions
Waitsburg Fairgrounds
Several food vendors will be set up at the fairgrounds serving cupcakes, dilly bars, popcorn and more.
3-5 p.m. ATV Challenge Obstacle Course
Waitsburg Fairgrounds
Participants will challenge themselves with an ATV obstacle course that includes prizes for top competitors. The obstacle course is free to Poker Ride participants and $10 for those who wish to participate in the obstacle course only.
5 p.m. Burgers, Bands & Brews
Waitsburg Fairgrounds, Don Thomas Building
Waitsburg’s PEO will begin serving burgers at 5 p.m. and the Lions Club beer garden will be available. Walla Walla classic rock band Onion City will play from 6-8 p.m. with The FrogHollow Band taking the stage at 8 p.m. Lead singer Ty Lane has hinted the band will be dropping some news and there may be a special guest. Tickets may be purchased at Waitsburg Grocery or by calling 520-2124.

10:30 a.m. Dedication of Wait’s Mill Park
Wait’s Mill Park
Honor the memory of Wait’s Mill by participating in the dedication of Wait’s Mill Park. The site includes historical display panels that tell about Wait’s Mill and Lewis & Clark’s journey through Bolles Junction as well as a turbine from the original mill. The Q Wood Fired Grill will be on site with tri-tip breakfast burritos and coffee.
