WALLA WALLA – Without their lead point-scorer, Kaitlyn Andrews, who missed the meet, the Dayton Girls’ Track team scored an impressive third place tie out of six teams at the District 9 meet in Walla Walla last week. Their point total of 64 tied Garfield Palouse, and trailed winner Asotin and runner up DeSales.

The team included Carissa and Kianna Price, Alexus Wanlarbkam and Mascall. Wanlarbkam also won the 110 meter hurdles and was second in the 300. Carissa Price was third in the long jump.
For the Dayton boys, Junior Zach Waggoner had a long jump of 16 feet, 7 ½ inches, which was good for fifth place.
