PRESCOTT – The Waitsburg-Prescott girls' softball team dropped two one-run games to Garfield-Palouse on Saturday, 17-16 and 9-8.
In Game 1, the Lady Tigers jumped on the Vikings with 12 runs in the first inning and four more in the second. But it wouldn't be enough, as Gar-Pal fought back, taking the lead with six runs in the seventh inning.
For the game, WP had 18 hits and gave up 15. Kassidy Kuykendall and Hannah Grant each had three hits. But the Lady Tigers committed seven errors to help out the Vikings.
