Dayton batters Samii Bledsoe, Sarah Phillips and Kellie Moore had three RBIs each. Pitcher Megan Robins gave up 10 hits but allowed no walks.
"They outhit us and we had far too many errors," said Dayton assistant coach Desirae Jones. "But we did have patience at the plate and timely hits."
Dayton faced Brewster Saturday morning and fell behind after three innings, 3-0. But the team rallied back, taking a 4-3 lead into the seventh inning and then added three insurance runs to seal the win, 7-3.
Taylor Frame had three hits in the game, and Phillips, Moore and Heidi Dobbs each had three. Robins pitched and gave up only six Brewster hits.
The Lady Bulldogs moved on in the loser's bracket to face Colfax Saturday afternoon, but their season ended with a 10-7 loss to the other Bulldogs.
