Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley
WAITSBURG - The Waitsburg High School Kids' Football Camp was held May 30.
"We had a great turn out with 49 kids from Waitsburg, Dayton, and Walla Walla," said new Waitsburg head football coach Troy Larsen.
The future football players spent the morning going from station to station learning some fundamentals on the different offensive positions. They were coached by current WHS Cardinal players.
After the position session, the kids were split into teams and competed against each other in seven-on-seven passing games.
After a gourmet lunch cooked by the football coaches, the kids had a defensive afternoon, again going from station to station learning the different defensive positions.
