June 3, 2015

Sentencing/Resolution:

John G. Waltermire, 24, Dayton; sentenced to serve 12 months and one day following guilty plea in May on charges of second-degree burglary and resisting arrest. See story on Page 6 for more details.

Desiree D. Klein, 36, Dayton; charged in March with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and three counts of child endangerment with a controlled substance. Klein signed a plea agreement with the prosecutor’s office on June 3. The court will hear her change of plea and sentence her on July 8. Brown allegedly delivered meth in July and then October of last year within 1,000 feet of the perimeter of school grounds or in a public park. Brown is currently housed in the Columbia County Jail on a $50,100 bond.

Jared J. Mings, 32, Walla Walla; formally arraigned on charges of trafficking in stolen property, a Class B felony, and second-degree theft, a Class C felony. Mings entered a not-guilty plea to all charges.
