Larsen to Play in Dominican Republic

WAITSBURG – Recent Waitsburg High graduate and baseball star Talen Larsen has been invited to travel to the Dominican Republic with WSU Baseball Coach Michael Naughton.

Larsen will join 14 other players the week of July 28 to August 3. They will work with a small group of players, Dominican coaches and a Division I baseball coach, improving their skills.

Along with practices and a series of games, the players will have regular workouts with Dominican players and hear college guest-coach lectures. The team will tour and play at Major League Baseball Dominican Academies during the trip.
