Summer fun at Weller Library

Librarian Rosie Warehime (far right) had a full house at the Weller Memorial Library summer reading program on Monday afternoon. Here, she lends a hand with a science project involving Pop Rocks and Sprite.

McKenzie Miller is obviously pleased (and perhaps a bit surprised) as her balloon begins to inflate.

We hope the library's namesake, Fanny Weller, has a sense of humor, because she is about to be sprayed with water as Makenna Barron finishes off her science experiment. We imagine Fanny would be pleased to be a part of children having fun and learning at the library.
