Free Orchestra Performance, Oct. 10

DAYTON – The Inland Northwest Orchestra will hold a performance at Dayton High School auditorium at 4 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 10. The performance is free and open to the public.

The orchestra will perform four pieces including: “Cowboy Rhapsody” by Morton Guild, “To Kill a Mockingbird,” by Elmer Bernstein, “Jubilee” by Ron Nelson, and “Rhapsody for English Horn and String Orchestra” by Gordon Jacobs. The performance will be directed and conducted by R. Lee Friese.

The Inland Northwest Orchestra is part of the Inland Northwest Musicians group, a nonprofit organization that offers performances and musical education for the enrichment of musicians and citizens of the area. Affiliate organizations include the Inland Northwest Chorale, Wallowa Valley Orchestra, and the Willow Creek Symphony.
