Prescott Challenges Asotin but Falls in Four

Prescott lost at home to Asotin on Tues., Oct. 6th in four sets:  26-28; 25-19; 19-25 and 18-25.

 Prescott standouts were freshmen Ashley Diaz who netted 6/8 serving with three aces;  Ruby Rosales with 9/11 serving and three aces; and  Perla Xolio, Elizabeth Perez and Maribel Mendoza with three digs apiece.  Athziry Amezcua led the Lady Tigers with great hustle and court coverage.

 “We fought hard and left it all out on the court.  We came up short tonight, but I’m proud of our efforts tonight,” said Prescott Coach Bob Young.  “We begin the second half of league play at Dayton on Thursday.  If we continue to play hard, things will go our way.”
