PRESCOTT – Prescott lost in a home match against the DeSales Irish on Tues., Oct. 16. The Tigers fell in three sets: 14-25, 18-25, 10-25.
The Tigers were lead by senior Athziry Amezcua’s six digs, followed by junior back row players Maribel Mendoza and Elizabeth Perez with three each.
“The visiting Irish strung together enough serves and kills to pull out the win. Prescott started and ended slow, but played its style of ball in the second set showing tremendous heart, unity, and effort,” said Tiger Coach Bob Young. “Prescott didn’t manage much offense, but scored most of their points defensively,” he added.
The Tigers next home match will be against Tri-Cities Prep on Thurs., Oct. 22.
