Zach Bartlow Player of the Week

LA GRANDE, Ore. – For the third time this season, Eastern Oregon University quarterback, and former Waitsburg High star, Zach Bartlow was awarded Frontier Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performance against Montana Tech on Saturday in Whitefish, Mont.

In a losing effort (42-24), Bartlow completed 27 of 55 passes for a career high 395 yards. According to an Eastern Oregon press release, Bartlow leads the Frontier conference and is 10th nationally in Division 3, with an average of 279 yards passing per game.

Despite their strong offensive performances, the Mountaineers are struggling through a 3-6 season so far this year. Their final two games are Saturday at home against College of Idaho, and November 14 at home against Southern Oregon University, which is ranked number two in the nation in Division 3.
